AI Systems

AI that answers your phone, not your marketing copy

Everyone is selling AI. Very little of it does a job you can point at. We build the narrow, boring applications that actually save hours: qualifying, answering, routing, and following up.

From $1,200 setup. Fixed scope before we start.

What you get

  • A site assistant trained on your real services, pricing, and coverage area
  • Lead scoring and routing so your team calls the best leads first
  • Automatic qualification questions before a call is booked
  • Draft follow-up messages your team approves rather than writes
  • Content production with a human review gate — never publish-on-autopilot
  • Escalation rules so a real person takes over the moment it matters
  • Honest scoping: we will tell you when AI is the wrong tool for the job

The problem

Where AI helps, and where it quietly makes things worse

It helps at the top of the funnel. Answering "do you serve my area", "what does this cost roughly", and "can you come Thursday" — at 11pm, instantly, without a person. That is real time saved and real jobs captured.

It helps with triage. Scoring and routing inbound leads so the highest-intent ones surface first is unglamorous and genuinely valuable, especially when volume spikes.

It hurts when it is used to fake a person. A bot that pretends to be a human and then cannot answer erodes trust faster than no bot at all. We label it as an assistant and hand off cleanly.

It hurts when it writes your site. Publishing unreviewed AI content at scale is the fastest way to get a site filtered out of search results. We use AI to draft and a human to decide.

How we work

What the engagement looks like

Scope

We find the two or three repetitive tasks eating the most time. If none of them suit AI, we say so and stop — that is a legitimate outcome.

Ground

The assistant is trained on your actual services, pricing, coverage, and policies, so it stops inventing answers.

Guard

Escalation rules, refusal boundaries, and handoff to a human. We test the failure cases, not just the happy path.

Measure

Conversations handled, questions escalated, bookings produced. If it is not earning its keep in 60 days, we turn it off.

Questions about ai systems

Will an AI assistant hurt my brand?

It will if it pretends to be human and then fails. We label it clearly, keep it to questions it can genuinely answer, and hand off to a person the moment it hits a boundary. Done that way it reads as responsive, not cheap.

Can AI write my website content?

It can draft. It should not publish. Search engines are actively filtering unreviewed AI content at scale, and more importantly it reads as generic to the human deciding whether to trust you. Every page we ship goes through a person.

What if it gives a customer wrong information?

That is the failure case we design around. The assistant is grounded in your real service and pricing data, is explicitly told what it does not know, and escalates rather than guesses. We test this before launch, not after.

Do I need this?

Probably not first. Most service businesses get more from fixing follow-up speed and their conversion path than from adding AI. We will tell you if that is your situation — it is a smaller invoice for us and a better outcome for you.
